About Art House
I started Rachel Lucie Jewellery in 2008, and realised that it was essential for my jewellery photos to be clear so that people will know their jewellery will be like to hold or wear. I learnt my photography skills along the way and developed a love of photography itself.
I've always been fascinated by the detail of small things in life and getting up close to nature, such as viewing moss as a forest, or seeing the geometric patterns of petals and seed pods. I found that photography allows me to try and capture the things that I find beautiful in nature, but also to inspire my design work.
We live increasingly technological and busy lives, and we often don't have time to sit and really look the beautiful flowers, smell the wild garlic or watch the sun filtering through the trees. So many of us live or work in cities and towns, and this lead me to the idea that I wanted to capture nature and bring it's beauty inside.
I began to develop a range of useful or beautiful products and gifts that would do just that ~ let us bring nature into our homes and busy lives, and so Art House was born.
I currently have products available in four designs; water lily, seed pod, umbellifera and wild garlic which you will be able to buy as art prints, cushions, phone cases, tablet cases, cards and notebooks.
