What jewellery collection inspired by traditional tales could leave out Little Red?! Here is a new handmade jewellery design that forms part of my Folklore Collection, Little Red Riding Hood which you can buy either as earrings or necklace - or both, of course!

I have used gorgeous tiny ruby beads with a distinctive shaped silver link and wire wrapping, the design reminds me some folk art designs and the rich colours of the rubies are great to warm you up this Autumn / Winter.

Rachel Lucie In Vogue!

After a lovely and inspiring summer break in France with my family, I'm delighted to share that one of my newest designs will in November's Vogue Magazine! 

These earrings are from one of my new collections, Folklore, and I created them using beautiful faceted garnets with these wonderful teal freshwater pearls. The components are rolled gold, and these are my own design of ear wire. The beads are free to dance on the wire as they wish.

Floral Trends

 

William Morris floral designs inspire Rachel Lucie's handmade silver jewellery
William Morris flower designs, the Arts and Crafts movement and other floral art through the ages is making a comeback with flower prints being big news in fashion with tea-dresses and maxi-dresses this season.
This summer I've really been taking inspiration from my love of botanical drawings and the role that flowers have had in design through history.
My Botanica Jewellery Collection, reflects this year's floral trends with the Flower Garden necklace and bracelet, and Daisy Chain bracelet and earrings.
Forget me Not necklace and earrings are an amazing blue which seems amplified by the blue of blue lace agate when paired with tiny sparkling iolite beads. The loose charm-style design is carefree and would go wonderfully with a linen dress, or a vest and jeans.
            
From a gesture of love, to bringing nature inside my home with floral decor. For sheer colour, elegance and femininity, flowers will always inspire me.

Rosa by any other name

Here's Rosa from my Luxe Collection.

I've used faceted nuggets of rose quartz with tiny peridot hexagons on gold-filled accessories. They make a very feminine and light combination.

Opulent Opals

Delice Pink Opal Earrings handmade by Rachel Lucie

 I've wanted to work with opal for a while now, and was really pleased to source these exquisite delicate pink briolettes. I decided to contrast the clean shape with a nest of oxidized fine silver. Pink and black is a classic combination, and the Delice Earrings were born! 








I think they would go perfectly with a simple cream shirt, or equally well with the classic Little Black Dress in the evening.
